Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended return date to enter the British Virgin Islands (BVIs).

Currency
The official currency of Virgin Gorda is the United States dollar (USD).

Driving Rules
In the BVIs, you drive on the left side of the road. Exercise caution, especially if you're not used to left-side driving.

Cash Needs
It's a good idea to bring cash, particularly if you plan to rent a car — one of the two gas stations on the island accepts cash only.

Time Zone
Virgin Gorda is on Atlantic Standard Time.

Weather in January
Expect pleasant temperatures ranging from the low to mid-70s°F at night to the low to mid-80s°F during the day.
